Lodge Poles & Posts for BLM - Utah / Color Country Field Office. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Utah - State seeks lodge poles and posts. These are to be delivered to the BLM Color Country Field Office located at 176 East DL Sargent Drive Cedar City, UT 847121. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is L16PS01040 and it is a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89 07/14/2016. This procurement is a 100% total set aside for small business and it is being conducted under NAICS code 423990 Wood products (e.g. chips, posts, shavings, ties) merchant wholesalers under which, to be a small business, a company must have 100 or less employees. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors applies to this acquisition and any addenda to it are in the attached file regarding Clauses. The provision FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items is applicable to this acquisition and it and its' details are in the attached file regarding clauses. The method of source selection is lowest priced, technically acceptable (LPTA). All offerors must include with their quote a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items which is in the attached file referencing Clauses. All contractors wishing to do business with the federal government must have an active entry in the SAM computer system (https://www.sam.gov) and not be debarred from federal contracting. The Mission & Installation Contracting Command-ICO Fort Leonard Wood, Ft. Leonard Wood MO. 65473 intends to issue a solicitation for a requirements contract for approximately 335 cords of 12 inch split firewood, and 330 cords of 16 inch split firewood.

The MICC Fort Buchanan requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: 
LI 001: Door Building 390 at Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. The contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment, and supervision required to accomplish the following: Remove and dispose the old sliding door and install a single swing door 42? wide in order to comply with ADA requirement. The work space is 80 inches width and 90 inches high. The door should open to the outside from left to right with a 12? space away from the wall in order to avoid problems with the current shutters system installed. Automatic operators 120 volt should be installed in order to provide easy access to the handicap personnel. Two buttons operator, deactivation key and sensor for safety. All door frames should be aluminum (black or solar bronze). Glass should be 1/4" clear glass. Doors shall have key lock and handles, stainless steel, and two push plates. Hinges must be stainless steel. See attached purchase description and sketch. This item includes the removal of existing door, new glass door with frame, side glass panels and frame, installation and delivery to Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico., 1, EA; 
LI 002: Doors Building 689 at Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. The contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment, and supervision required to accomplish the following: Remove and dispose the old six traffic doors, and install six Double Impact Traffic Doors, with 16? x 16? window standard, standard bumpers 24? high, color black both sides, full gaskets, polyethylene front and back, upper and lower hinges. 72? wide x 84? high. See attached purchase description and sketch. This item includes the removal of existing doors, new double impact doors with frame, installation and delivery to Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico., 6, EA;

Bid MUST be good for 90 calendar days after submission 

Shipping must be free on board (FOB) Ft. Buchanan, Puerto Rico which means that the seller must deliver the goods on its conveyance to Ft. Buchanan or to the destination specified by the Buyer. The seller is responsible for the cost of shipping and risk of loss prior to actual delivery at the specified destination. 

No partial shipments unless otherwise specified at time of order. 

If you have complaints about this procurement, it is preferable that you first attempt to resolve those concerns with the responsible contracting officer. However, you can also protest to Headquarters (HQ), Army Materiel Command (AMC). The HQ AMC-Level Protest Program is intended to encourage interested parties to seek resolution of their concerns within AMC as an Alternative Dispute Resolution forum, rather than filing a protest with the Government Accountability Office (GAO) or other external forum. Contract award or performance is suspended during the protest to the same extent, and within the same time periods, as if filed at the GAO.
